PET CT Technologist

Pet CT Technologist performs various diagnostic imaging, non-imaging, and therapeutic procedures; performs quality control on all department equipment daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly as required by all applicable laws and regulations governing the use of radiopharmaceutical equipment under the Radioactive Materials license; maintains accurate records on all QC performed within the department and will maintain these records as prescribed by state and federal laws; maintains the radiopharmaceutical laboratory and performs dose calculations and administration following detailed policies and procedures; and abides by all hospital and state laws concerning radiation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
PET CT Technologist performs various diagnostic imaging and non-imaging procedures, performs quality control on all nuclear medicine equipment, maintains radiopharmaceutical laboratory, and performs dose calculations and administrations. The Technologist abides by all clinic and state laws concerning radiation while interacting with patients, explaining procedures, counseling, and assisting as necessary.

WHAT WE SEEK
o Active Registry in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMCB).
o Active Registry in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
o Active license issued by the State of Florida as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and General Radiographer, or as a Fusion Technologist.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
