Quality Engineer
Attention Quality Engineers! Experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineers are needed to manage product quality and process engineering tasks.
The candidate will need to understand Quality Management Systems, corrective action process, good problem solving and be able to help with manufacturing continuous improvement activities as part of a company expansion effort.
Hands on engineering experience is essential as you will be working very closely with the production and other engineering staff.
Direct Hire position.
Starting Salary:
$50k-$60k Responsibilities Include:
Analyzes customer claims.
Leads countermeasure activities.
Prepares PPAP or ISIR documents.
Develops testing and layout plans for process and/or design changes.
Reviews daily scrap for assigned production areas.
Performs line audits as prescribed by Quality Manager.
Coordinates SPC activities.
Makes decisions to accept or reject product.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
B.
S.
Degree in Engineering or related field Required Minimum of three(3) years experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with TS 16949 is a MUST.
