Quality Control Technician

We are now seeking a Quality Control Technician in the Niles, MI area! Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician in the Niles, MI area!
The QC Technician is responsible for ensuring that all orders that go through Quality Control are 100% checked.
Job
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that designated tables are clean before the start of the shift and the end of the shift.
2. Ensuring that pick tickets are reviewed for special notes and that order numbers match on the label and ticket.
3. Ensuring that you check for the following when checking for quality:
a) all sizes are correct as per order.
b) all quantities match the pick ticket and RF scanner or computer.
c) all styles and colors match as per order.
d) all products are spotless clean and free from any defects.
e) all products are neatly folded and packed in boxes after QC.
4. Ensuring that all errors are verified by the leader of the department and are entered in RF scanner or computer.
5. Ensuring that the surroundings of the departments are clean all the time. -Previous experience in warehouse environment is helpful.
-Ability to lift and move boxes up to 60 pounds.
-Basic math skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
