Java Developers III (Job ID#JD30315)
Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking Java Developers who will utilize advanced knowledge of occupational Java/J2EE development processes, tools and technologies to assist the Project Manager in the design, development, testing, and support of Java/J2EE applications. Job duties include the following: Coordinate the modification of existing application software to correct errors or improve performance. Monitor software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. After consultation with Project Manager, confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmer analysts and others to assist in the design of software systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Coordinate communications with clients about desired software system design and maintenance. Coordinate and monitor software system installation to ensure specifications are met. Obtain, analyze and evaluate with Project Manager information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to help determine software configuration. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities. In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, employer will accept a related Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 5 years of related progressive post-degree experience that provided the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
