Imbuesys, Inc. is seeking junior-level Java Developers who will utilize standard occupational tools and knowledge, including knowledge of, and experience with, Java technologies, to perform the following job duties: while working under close supervision of the Project Manager, design, develop, test, and support Java/J2EE applications using, among other tools, Servlets, JavaScript programming language, Weblogic, Oracle, and PL/SQL relational database applications and Webservices. Under supervision, modify existing application software to correct errors or improve performance. As directed by Project Manager, conduct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmer analysts and others to assist in the design of software systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Communicate with clients about desired software system design and maintenance. Under supervision, assist in coordination of software system installation to ensure specifications are met. Under direction of Project Manager, obtain, analyze and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to help determine software configuration. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related major that provided the skills, knowledge, and abilities required and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a related position that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelors degree. Employer will accept a foreign degree.
No travel or telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
