Yahoo currently has a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Senior position available at our office in Sunnyvale, CA.
DUTIES: Work on complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires in depth evaluation of various factors which may be difficult to define, develop quality standards for Yahoo products, certification & execution of software test plans & analysis of test results. Write test cases, develop automated tests, execute test cases and document results, and work closely with engineers and product managers while writing defect descriptions. Establish front-end automation framework, build automation structure, and come up high quality coding standard/pattern. Understand Search product, design test, write libraries and automated test for front-end user scenarios.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. 5 years of software development experience using Java or C+
and/or PHP
2. 2 years of Quality Assurance automation experience, both front-end and API
3. Hands-on experience in front-end automation using tools such as Selenium, testing, Maven, Hudson, version control/GIT
4. Web Services methodologies like JSON and REST
5. Experience in Agile software development and Continuous Integration setup.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
