RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The NAWCWD NavMPS IPT Information Assurance (IA) Technical Analyst is responsible for the detailed analysis of the NavMPS systems in regards to the NavMPS IPT IA Certification and Accreditation process. This includes performing IA compliance scanning, manual Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) testing, technical analysis of scan and STIG results, developing effective mitigations strategies for identified vulnerabilities, and ensuring that the quality and configuration of IA work products are maintained.
Designs and implements information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management).
Assesses and mitigates system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
Validates system security requirements definition and analysis.
Establishes system security designs.
Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
Verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities.
Supports secure systems operations and maintenance.
MINIMUM TANGIBLE
Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or related or Master of Information Technology or equivalent
>5 yrs of related or relevant experience
CISSP or Security
Certified
Working knowledge of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides, eEye Retina, and Tenable Nessus
Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance; NLT Secret
Experience generating test plans, test cases, and test procedures
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
BA/BS and 5-8 yrs of related experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
