Screw Machine Engineer

An Automotive parts manufacturer located in Virginia is seeking a hands on Manufacturing Engineer to support existing machining processes and to help implement new process/product launches.
This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, tooling/layouts, and support of various machining centers and will be required to recommend and implement process tooling or equipment improvements for the purpose of cost reduction, increased equipment capacity, and quality improvement.
This position requires a degree or related experience with a minimum of 5 yrs experience in automotive industry.
Prior exp.
in automotive machining operations is required.
Candidates should possess experience in the specification, tooling, layout, programming, and troubleshooting of various types of machining centers, including multi-spindle screw machines, rotary transfer machines and CNC machines.
Position open due to up coming retirement.
Must have high volume production machining background to include knowledge of Screw Machines.
Equipment includes; Multi-spindle screw machines- Davenports,Acmes,Tornos SAS-16,Rotary Transfer machines-Hydromats, MikronsPrior experience with CNC Swiss machining is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
