Desk Top Support/Facilities Management

The Desktop Support Technician works with the IT Team to administer and support all end-use laptop/desktop needs across the company. This role has a significant impact on assisting all coworkers with the technical needs they have to perform their roles, and has a significant impact on the company's performance.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Support all internal and external customers via helpdesk.
Maintain all I.T. systems maintenance programs.
Maintain existing Backups, AV, SUS.
Maintain I.T. systems New hire/Termination's file.
Maintain asset management (Inventory/H.W./S.W./Tools)
Maintain and Monitor existing Systems Monitoring System.
Maintain company Disaster Recovery Plan
Ensure users/customers are provided professional, courteous, and timely support and service.
Contribute to structure and develop IT department for maximum effectiveness
On-Call outside of normal working hours to provide emergency service.
Month End Updates to key systems.
Ability to work overtime with reasonable notice.
Maintain / upgrade building wiring as needed.
Facilities management.
Light warehouse work may be required to pull archives from storage.
Other duties as assigned.

Competencies:
Technical skills and experience in Desktop support
Strong customer orientation
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of personnel, including other managers.
Demonstrates understanding of company objectives and acts in a manner consistent with those objectives.
Able to effectively interact with Project Management, Sales, and other Service operations to achieve common goals; This Is regarded by managers as someone who they can delegate to with confidence.

Education and/or
Experience:
MS Office and Operating systems a must
Avaya Aura communications/experience preferred.
Understanding and experience with Networking, Interfaces, and Microsoft products.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
