We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to work with local and international data center projects. We are in the process of several acquisitions and will be working to build up data center capabilities through consolidation, build, colo and cloud solutions.
Infrastructure Project Manager (Consultant)
Location: Onsite in Eden Prairie, MN (or ability to travel daily to Eden Prairie)

Position
Summary:
This position is responsible for managing all phases and activities associated with technical infrastructure solution projects possibly including consolidation of data center, migration to collocation data centers and cloud services providers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
o Project Management of concurrent Infrastructure projects in cooperation with other technical and non-technical project managers.
o Manage projects related to consolidation of data centers and/or migration to cloud services
o Manages, oversees, and directs project teams including setting priorities, scheduling, coordinating, and the reporting of team activities. Coordinates resource schedules with other project teams, business units, and 3rd party contractors to orchestrate and plan the activities for assigned projects.
o Provides weekly and monthly reporting on all project deliverables, schedule, and cost. Prepares kick-off meeting, project plans, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action items, issue logs, risk assessments, documents business decisions, and facilitates necessary project team meetings on assigned projects. Maintains close, professional relationships and close collaboration with client and partner project managers and key project staff/stakeholders.
o Manages all project management deliverables that support scope management, quality management, resource management, schedule management, risk management, communications management, 3rd party contract management for service delivery, and overall P&L responsibility for a variety of projects.
o Demonstrated ability to manage a minimum of four (4) technical projects concurrently
o Experience with applying PMI based best practices, methodology and procedures
o Experience developing and implementing complete project schedules to ensure required dates are met
Technical and
Specific Requirements:
o Enterprise level IT Infrastructure/Data Center knowledge
o Networking (VOIP, switching and firewall/security) - Cisco required
o Servers (Converged infrastructure and/or Blade servers) - Cisco UCS preferred
o Enterprise Storage - NetApp preferred
o Cloud computing - preference
o Data center consolidation/migration experience - preferred
o Flexible schedule when needed to work with global teams - required
o Experience leading international projects- strongly preferred
o MS Project 2010 or 2013 experience
Basic Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, sales, or a related field
o At least ten (10) years of IT experience to include five (5) years of experience managing hardware technical infrastructure projects
Preferred Qualifications
o PMP Certification
o ITIL, Technical and/or Six Sigma certifications

The position exists to provide consulting solutions to customers and as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
