Distribution Center Associate

Location: Mira Loma, CA Rate: 14.00 Part Time 16 - 30 Hours a week Job Description Major purpose:Performs tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of product while meeting productivity, quality, safety, behavioral and attendance expectations
Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a distribution center Major responsibilities and duties:o Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance.
o Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc.
o Complies with Company policies, guidelines and procedures as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product.
o Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
o Actively participates in process improvements by utilizing Companie's quality system Requirements:Must have a minimum of 6-12 months warehouse or related experience.

High school diploma or equivalent.
< br> < br> Other Requirements:
o Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment.
o Able to meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements, including overtime as required.
o Able to do continuous lifting up to 75 pounds and be able to operate warehouse vehicles (PIE, etc.) and material handling equipment.
o Able to operate computerized scanning equipment.
o Able to work in a team environment Impact on organization: Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
