Engineering Project Manager

Engineering Project Manager in our Oceanside, California office.
Delta Systems Engineering is a professional services firm providing engineering and integration solutions to challenging and complex electrical and control system problems. We currently have offices in Arizona, Southern California, and Nevada. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Manage project teams of designers and system integrators to deliver superior and profitable solutions to our clients.
o Ensure that the goals and objectives of the clients' projects are accomplished on time and within budget, achieving desired quality and project profitability.
o Work with the management team in maintaining a competent, well trained, motivated staff.
o Initiate and review proposals and participate in customer interviews and presentations as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager of control system and power distribution design projects, and SCADA system integration projects.
o Minimum of 10 years of experience as a design engineer or control system integration (i.e. SCADA) engineering, preferably in water/wastewater or manufacturing industrial automation, including business development experience. Experience in some or all of the following desired:
o Extensive knowledge of Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Design
o Large horsepower motors and variable speed drives
o Energy management systems
o Microsoft Office and Project - Deltek Vision experience a plus
o Database management and report generation
o Knowledge of control system design and system integration
o Basic AutoCAD and Microstation knowledge
o Basic Power System Analysis Software such as ETAP and SKM
o BS degree in electrical or control systems engineering (and California P.E. desirable), PMP certification a plus.
o Solid design experience in the development of single line diagrams, P&IDs, control schematics, connection diagrams, plan drawings, and installation details.
o Experience in Construction Administration activities such as shop drawing review, submittal review, response to RFIs, O&M manual review, construction observations, and punch list development.
o Clear working knowledge of the real-world construction process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
