Pharmacy Technician
Definition:
An individual, responsible for technical and clerical activities within the Pharmacy Department under the supervision and final check of the pharmacist to include preparing routine orders for unit does, prepackaging pharmaceuticals, compounding medications and admixing intravenous solutions.
Knowledge:
High School Graduate Skills:
Ability to perform mathematical calculations required.
Good clerical skills including typing at least 40 wpm and computer experience is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience in a health care setting is preferred.
License:
Valid CA Registered Pharmacy Technician Certificate required.
Valid California Drivers License.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
