Lead Process Engineer - Food/Beverage

We are seeking an experienced mechanical or chemical process engineer that will lead and support process engineering projects for our clients.
This individual will be expected to write proposals which will include concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated costs, while also providing regular direction to other engineers and designers.
Establishing relationships and leading client interactions will be key throughout each project phase (design, bid, build, installation and start-up), in order to ensure successful execution of various turnkey engineering projects.
In addition, working directly with our clients will be crucial to supporting their operations.
This will require you to create design deliverables (scopes of work, drawings, equipment specifications, etc.
), review bids, and subsequently procure and purchase the required equipment, while at the same time, provide quality control and adhere to all client specifications (quality, timeline, cost, etc) and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

oBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experienceoRegistered Professional Engineero10
years of experience with food and/or beverage systems - specific experience in steam delivery and treatment systems?5
years of experience in the food and/or beverage industry, leading and managing teams of engineersoPrevious experience with the following:
?Steam generation, piping, sizing, condensate recovery, combustion control and emissions management?Heat exchanger sizing and application?Make-up and feed water chemical treatment systems?Process system and steam piping design within the food and/or beverage industry?Cost estimating (labor hours and capital cost estimates)Preferred
