Food Scientist Position Available
I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Food Scientist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Glenview, IL Details for the position are as follows:
JOB DESCRIPTION
B.S. in Food Science or Food Engineering Degree Preferred

years of experience with strong new food development skills. The candidate will manage projects, develop bench-top prototypes, conduct pilot plant scale-up, organize and execute plant trials, conduct consumer testing, and commercialize into existing products.
A special project will involve a process/ingredient optimization and application project.
Trails, scale up and capital decisions will be required.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage complexity with a high degree of ambiguity and autonomy.
This individual must have a strong technical background, leadership skills, problem solving and project management skills.
The candidate will have significant interaction and need to be able to work across marketing teams, operations, quality, finance, procurement, enabling technologies and external suppliers.
Demonstrated ability to work in project teams and cross functionally
