Program Analyst - Data Analyst
PD # 05023-0 Reports directly to the Deputy Director of SAOW Regional Office and is responsible for gathering, compiling and coordinating data reports in order to develop and conduct comprehensive investigative studies for decision making purposes.
Consults with management and personnel at the NCO, SAO Regional Office, VHA Central Office, and strategic planning subject matter experts to formulate and defend strategic plans and directions, discuss overall intent of plans, actions or projects, and determine detailed guidelines for studies, utilizing knowledge of subject area, research techniques, and regulatory limitations; organizes and analyzes from all sources, using statistical methods to ensure validity of results.
Has expertise in analyzing, interpreting, interrelating, and evaluating the retrieved information.
Must also be able to support and defend results to ensure plans are accepted and implemented using presentation software, and strong communication skills to ensure specific recommendations developed from analytical studies are understood and embraced by the field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and programming languages.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
