Our client is currently seeking a Desktop Tech.
Experience Level:
(Intermediate, 3 - 5 Years' Experience).
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Required Skills and Education requirements for resource:
- Knowledge of basic Windows Server file system permissions (users, groups, ACLs).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel basic topics (sorting, cut-and-paste, filtering).
- Basic knowledge of Novell/Netware file system permissions (users, groups, trustee rights, inherited rights masks) is a plus, but not necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer orientation.
Responsibilities:
- This is a customer-facing role.
- Lead small meetings - Interface with business and IT people - Gather/run reports to analyze impact of migration on a site - Work with RIM Reps/ Customer at a site to assist in the cleanup of data prior to migration - Take full ownership from analysis thru migration for sites assigned to them (Using Excel & G2D Tools) - Transition of sites responsibilities and to pick-up where another team member left off.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
