Production Manager
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate all production activities to attain quality, compliance, safety, and profitability objectives
Works closely with New Product Development to ensure a timely introduction of new products and processes
Ensure adherence to Safety practices
Ensure compliance with Quality System requirements
Plan pilot production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products and establishes direction and strategies for product flow throughout the pilot production area.
Communicate and direct organization objectives
Establishes manufacturing goals and objectives to meet organization strategies and goals
Manage production inventory
Communicate strategies to to Top Management on methods of improving and enhancing operational capabilities and product quality
Approve and monitor department budget and costs and communicate business related issues to the next management level
Ensure that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition and for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Perform other assigned duties as needed
Work closely with R&D to scale up new products for production
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in science or engineering (chemical engineering or engineering preferred)
3 or more years production experience (manager or assistant manager experience preferred)
Production experience in aerospace or medical device field strongly preferred
Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Should demonstrated sense of urgency, strategic thinking, big picture orientation, intellectual curiosity, prudent risk taking, collaboration
Should possess a strong financial acumen and understanding of manufacturing cost accounting

$24-26/hr
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
