Operation/General Labor
Performs a wide variety of duties in the grain elevator operations from loading barges and dumping trucks to grading grain and working in the truck scale. Performs heavy manual labor in most job duties.
Primary Job Duties
Assists in the loading of barges
Performs general clean-up of facility including sweeping, painting and other general housekeeping duties
Runs appropriate series of test on different grain
Enters information into a computer
Weighs trucks in and out of the facility
Job Requirements
Good computer skills.
Able to work around deep water
Able to perform basic math functions
Able to read and understand measurements
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Strong ability to multi-task
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience Required
Entry Level position with previous experience performing heavy labor with a dependable work record.
Other Requirements
Works outside in extreme weather conditions. Able to work in environment with high dust levels. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
