Associate Director of Behavioral Health - LCSW (Psych Pros Inc - Oswego, NY)
We are currently hiring for an Associate Director of Behavioral Health in Oswego, NY.
This role is responsible to plan, organize, implement, and coordinate a Behavioral Services Program to provide in-treatment, continuing day treatment, and out-treatment psychiatric services for local and out-lying communities; to recommend policy and establish goals, objectives and budgets for Behavioral Services and guide department staff to achieve objectives; contribute to the development of hospital policy and goals.
Responsibilities:

Develop and recommend to the Board of Directors, policy and programs related to Behavioral Services.
Interpret policy and, in conjunction with center advisory staff, formulate and establish goals and coordinated objectives.
Supervise and direct management staff in the implementation of objectives in a timely manner.
Identify and resolve problems or guide staff in the identification and resolution of problems within their units.
Develop and maintain an effective record keeping and flow of information systems for Behavioral Services.
Ensure preparation of a human resource development plan analyzing current strengths and weaknesses, development needs and corrective actions required.
Promote harmony among staff and ensure cooperation, individual respect, and commitment to the hospital mission.
Develop, prepare, and ensure adherence to, departmental budget; approve expenditure of funds within hospital policy.
Plan and perform special projects, conduct research studies, as appropriate and as directed.
Maintain awareness of new concepts and methods in the Behavioral Services field and advance professional competence through continuing education courses, seminars, publications, and professional associations.
Maintain current knowledge of and interpret legal and regulatory agencies rules and regulations as applicable, and ensure compliance.
Represent the Behavioral Services Division to regulatory agencies, civic groups, professional organizations and associations.
Maintain active involvement in community affairs.
Establish and maintain liaison with medical staff associated with the division.
Apply professional expertise and perform clinical services within established time limitations.
Develop and monitor an on-going quality assessment of programs and take appropriate action to correct problems; prepare periodic reports as required.
Conduct regular staff and joint executive staff meetings.
Contribute to the development of overall hospital policy, the definition of administrative goals and coordination of activities.
Select, guide, direct, and maintain professional discipline with reporting personnel.
Ensure all Behavioral Services personnel have current job descriptions, are aware of their responsibilities, and appraised of their performance.
Comply, and ensure compliance, with the state and federal government rules and regulations regarding health, safety, and equal opportunity.
Qualifications
LCSW licensure and education required.
Minimum of 5-7 years healthcare administrative / leadership experience, preferably in a similar behavioral health / behavioral hospital settingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
