Summary: The RCM Account Manager (AM) has overall accountability for managing clients and ensuring that the internal billing team is meeting objectives. The incumbent will manage the billing process and will be accountable for client satisfaction. RCM Account Manager is a business management position where the Individual is responsible for the financial health of the practice. AM is the primary contact between RCM team and clients. RCM - AM works very closely with the Project Managers implementing the integrated EMR-PM solution
Note: This position requires strong experience in Retina Specialty OR Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) physician billing. Please do not apply if you do not have substantial experience, specifically in Retina specialty OR Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) billing.
Primary
Responsibilities:
o Acts as the liaison between the internal, cross functional teams and the clients
o Daily management of client issues and problems
o Evaluating the clients billing needs.
o Provides superior customer service to clients
o Management of revenue and billing metrics
o Proactively analyzes the client's financial health on a monthly basis to identify reimbursement trends, patterns of denials and to develop an intimate understanding of the factors that are contributing to the clients' financial performance.
o Conducts routine meetings with client management
o Coordinating all practice billing activities with provider office and internal billing teams
o Manages multiple client priorities, develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams to complete projects
o Daily tracking of operational elements of physician practice
o Provide hands-on support as needed to help the team identify and solve larger issues
o Making workflow recommendations to both customer & internal billing team to improve back office operation.
o Generates and analyzes reports to identify issues, concerns and/or trends
o Provides daily, weekly, monthly metrics and creation of Month End Reporting and submission to provider practices
o Research, document & train billing teams on specific insurance mandates
o Research and share billing information pertinent to States and Insurances
Education and
Experience:
o Minimum of 8 years of experience in physician billing, particularly focused on Retina/Ophthalmology or Orthopedics billing.
o Experience with medical billing/collections required, including accounts receivable, account follow-up, claim denials, data entry, cash posting and coding
o Experience in eligibility verification, ERA, familiarity with HIPAA rules
o Knowledge of billing workflow
o CPC or any certification strongly preferred

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
