Security Officer- Grave Shift
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer.
The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining security protection, which includes money transactions, public relations, performing command center functions, assisting guests/customers and employees, as needed and maintaining order.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for specific positions.
)1.
Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
2.
Assists sick or injured patrons and employees.
3.
Assists Games and Slots department in removing drop boxes.
4.
Attends all safety training classes; reports unsafe or hazardous conditions.
5.
Assists patrons and employees on directions and proper procedures.
6.
Checks identification of all persons that appear to be under 21 years of age.
7.
Performs fills, credits, exchanges and marker transfers procedures for departments as needed.
8.
Composes accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
9.
Operates company vehicles in a safe manner.
10.
Performs all functions of Fire Safety Officer, including monitoring of surveillance equipment, alarms, VCRs, multiplexers and intercom system according to established procedure.
11.
Performs dispatch activities and logs all dispatches accurately.
Job Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must have effective communication skills.
Must be bondable with no felony convictions.
Must have valid State driver's license.
Must be able to write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
Blood Borne Pathogen, First Aid, and CPR Training required.
The skills required of this position can typically be acquired through two months of on- the-job training, or through related experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
