Structural Engineer


Essential Duties:
Experience in industrial structural design with the ability to produce practical and economical high-quality designs in accordance with industrial and engineering department standards and construction estimates.
Making structural engineering decisions on assigned project(s), executing assignments in conformance with project-specific documentation, overseeing the drafting of their designs, and reviewing and checking structural designs and drawings to ensure conformance.
Perform as lead structural engineer on the medium to large complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
Market engineering construction services to potential clients, maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and all co-workers including onsite construction crews.
Qualifications
Education: A four year Bachelor degree is required.
Experience: SE License a plus, or willingness to apply and pass the SE exam. Ten (10) years extensive structural design experience is necessary for this role. Experience in a fast-paced business environment is helpful. Proven history of leading, teaching, developing, and mentoring others successfully.
Skills: Sound judgment, communication, leadership, client relations, construction knowledge, decision making, conflict resolution, tact, adaptable, analytical, advanced mathematical skills, interpersonal, supervisory, and mentoring are all necessary skills for this position.Solid systems experience with the latest design and drafting software is preferred for this role.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
