We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and seasoned Mortgage Loan Processor who is eager to work in a start-up environment with a truly unique product, and either has experience working on all facets of a loan from submission to underwriting, or is looking to expand their expertise beyond their mortgage loan processing experience. We are growing, and want you to grow with us.
General Responsibilities
Process and close a minimum of 20 mortgage loans per month.
Carry a pipeline of 30-40, or more, mortgage loans per month.
Communicate effectively with Loan Originators, underwriters, closers, realtors and title companies throughout the mortgage loan process, providing an incredible customer experience.
Maintain high-level of accuracy in borrower loan files in Loan Origination System.
Prioritize loan pipeline in an ever-changing regulatory environment.
Anticipate issues during the loan process and proactively work to resolve them.
Professional Experience and Skills
Well-developed ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Thorough knowledge of loan processing and closing policies, procedures, documents underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology, and automated processing systems.
Thorough knowledge of credit policies and approval processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiar with standard concepts, procedures and practices.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks, working under supervision.
Strong knowledge of Encompass 360 LOS.
Requirements
AA Degree or higher.
2-3 years loan processing and closing activities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
