Executive Director-Multi-site, Multi-Physician Infertility Practice

We are currently searching for an experienced Executive Director for an opening we have in La Jolla, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the operational efficiency and controls of the business through the effective performance of your daily responsibilities Responsibilities include facilitating revenue growth for the practice, and participate in the strategic planning, financial and budgetary processes. The Executive Director will supervise non-clinical staff and is responsible for general Human Resources duties.
Essential Functions:
oOversees day-to-day non-clinical operations of the practice and assists and supports clinical and laboratory department managers with their respective department operations.
oSupervise administrative, financial, call center, reception and sales/marketing staff.
oQualitative and quantitative reporting to analyze the overall operation of the practice (e.g., New Patient Reporting, New Patient Retention, Patient Satisfaction, Department QA/QC, Financial, Sales/Marketing, etc.).
oResponsible for the organization, agenda and minutes of leadership meetings
oHandles all patient complaints in collaboration with department managers.
oCollaborates with each department manager on Human Resources issues and is directly responsible for general HR duties (e.g., Payroll, LOA, Disability, Workers' Compensation, etc.).
oAssists and supports department managers and is responsible for recruitment, selection, retention and training of clinical and non-clinical practice personnel to maximize profits and to minimize turnover.
oMonitors staff levels to ensure that they are appropriate for the delivery of the highest quality services.
oDevelops and maintains non-clinical job descriptions and policies and procedures.
oAssists the leadership team in maintaining high standards of staff performance by coaching, mentoring, counseling, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
oCredential of physicians and allied health professionals as required.
oCollaborates and maintains the coordination, communication, and overall operations among ancillary providers or services .
oPerform non-clinical process improvement efforts yielding better operational flow, operational revenue, and efficient processes.
oCollaborates with department managers with ongoing Quality Improvement and Risk Management initiatives.
oAssists and supports the departmental managers in the external audit process such as laboratory, credentialing and licensure processes (e.g., FDA, CLIA, OSHA, etc.), and ensures compliance with all state and federal requirements.
oEvaluates need for non-clinical capital expenditure and monitors expenditure levels.
oControl non-clinical budgeted overhead and assisting Clinical Manager and Laboratory Manager in addressing any inefficiencies of the practice.
oBachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field required.
oMaster's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required.
oMinimum 5 years' experience in Healthcare environment.
oMedical Practice or Operations Manager experience preferred.
oFertility Industry experience preferred. Clinical degree or work experience in out-patient services preferred.
oMinimum 2 years Supervisory/Management experience in healthcare; physician practice management preferred.
oComputer literacy required. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and proficiency with a variety of hardware and software applications.
oProcess improvement experience.
oKnowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.).
oAbility to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and promote team building.
oVerbal and written abilities to communicate accurately and concisely.
oExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
