Entry Level Data Analyst

Club Champion has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst located in Willowbrook office.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Support the growth and profitability of Club Champion through detailed and thorough sales, product, customer, market and competitive analyses. Participate in the design and execution of methodologies, tracking and reporting to assess the results and effectiveness of all sales initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Partner with leadership to create and design all sales analytic reports to improve the effectiveness of store performance and sales initiatives.
o With support of leadership, prepare pro-active and reactive analytic reports from a sales perspective and to ensure informed strategic and tactical initiatives.
o Support continued technical and analytical efforts to improve the quality, reliability, breadth, and structure of the data.
o Prepare and direct distribution of weekly sales to leadership on store performance and individual sales results.
o Provide support for projects and initiatives as needed, including but not limited to ad hoc reporting and guidance on use and leveraging of database.
o Ensure effective planning, implementation, communication and achievement of project deliverables.
o Participate in special projects and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
o College Degree required with preference in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field.
o Strong Excel skills required with knowledge of Word and PowerPoint, Pivot Tables,charts and more.
o Knowledge of market research techniques and methodologies and ability to apply same.
o Ability to identify potential problems and possible solutions.
o Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple, time sensitive, projects simultaneously.
o Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to varied audience.
o Ability to work independently; self-starter.
WORK CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Office environment with substantial PC usage.
