Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
Supports Corporate Accounting Financial Analysis objectives by assisting with the development of ad hoc reporting and analysis for executive team. This includes using data from all segments including Corporate requirements and data.
The analyses are likely to include:
Analysis of trend data
Interpretation of data and provide recommendations
Ability to reach across a diverse Accounting group to obtain data
Assists in the preparation of the consolidation of inter company transactions.
Evaluation of transactions and interpret the impact on the consolidation entry.
Monitoring inter company balances to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
Assists in providing financial and statistical reports, on leases and the reconciliation tools and provide support to a large, decentralized and extremely diverse accounting group. This includes -
Analysis of data to record financial entries where needed.
Assist users with technical questions to ensure the systems are used in the most effective manner.
Interpretation of data and provide recommendations.
Supports Finance organization with projects stretching across the entire organization.
Supports the Corporate Accounting Team with account reconciliations and recording of journal entries.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
CPA certification or in the process of obtaining a CPA is required.

years of job specific work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement, experience must include
Strong technical skill in finance and accounting in addition to analysis of financial data
Experience developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
Extensive use of personal computers and spreadsheets packages, financial and accounting application software.
A basic understanding of leases capital and operating
Desired experience includes Experience and knowledge of financial analysis, involving the management of complex data requirements.
Desired experience includes project management experience in executing projects through implementation, across multiple internal and external reporting and organizational lines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
