Summary
Successful and growing company in Tigard/Beaverton area is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 2 month temporary assignment. This individual will be evaluated for conversion to a company employee thorough the duration of the assignment. Responsibilities
Reconcile and maintain estimates for management
Maintain an implement annual cost models
GL records and related documents
Must develop full understanding of business process to evaluate inventory needs
Act as consultant for internal and external stakeholders on issues related to inventory
Assist external auditors with requests
Produce inventory valuation presentations and reports for management
Analysis of inventory and recommend adjustments to inventory counts proposed by management
Able to perform special studies/projects of complex scope
Participate in issues related to financial management and/or automated systems.
Prepare quarter end reporting for Auditors and internal management reporting as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor Accounting/Finance/Business required
6
years of general accounting experience
2 years of public accounting (preferred)
CPA required
Strong GAAP knowledge
Proven knowledge/experience with inventory and costing
General understanding of SOX
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Excellent analysis skills
ERP system experience required (QAD preferred)
