Construction Estimator / Project Take-off
Candidate has the ability to read plans and blue prints.
Responsibilities:
o Perform accurate takeoff from building design and architectural plans
o Analyze and evaluate and apply cost information to determine pricing
o Prepare quotes and scope of work
Experience and Skills Required:
o Minimum 2-5 yrs. exp. in construction estimating and/or equivalent construction exp.
o Provides cost estimates for projects
o Ability to multi-task and manage estimates for more than one project at any given time
o Adapts easily to a fast paced environment
o Experience in construction (commercial) estimating is strongly encouraged
The estimator will be responsible for quantity take-offs and bid preparation, primarily for architectural metal and glass work (in construction industry) for the NY tri-state area. The position is based in Brewster, NY.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
