Wireless Internet Installer
Internet America is seeking a talented individual to fill an exciting position as a Wireless Field Technician in the surrounding Houston areaa.
Position
Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading Wireless Internet access equipment at residential and commercial locations.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Installing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading Wireless Internet access equipment
Interacting with customers and providing exceptional customer service
Communicating with the Call Center on Scheduling and Technical issues
Documenting and following all procedures related to Installs and Service Calls
Requirements:
Prefer experience in wireless internet, cable, or satellite installation
Climb towers and install wireless network equipment. (Experience preferred, or willing to get certified within six months)
Ability to handle unfavorable situations i.e. heights and weather
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
Basic to intermediate computer skills, network skills a plus
Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation - Truck or Van required
Your own laptop, basic tools, and ladder
Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record
Be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders
What We Offer:
Salary: $30,000 - $35,000 based on experience. Plus Bonus - earn up to $40,000
