NURSE PRACTITIONER (Spinal Cord Injury-SCI)
Incumbent serves as the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) nurse/provider and coordinator for the Loma Linda SCI Spoke Team.
The incumbent is a practitioner providing direct patient care services and coordination of care in this program area to this specific patient population.
The incumbent manages the daily operation of the program, develops policies and procedures for program operations and prepares reports and statistics for facility, VISN and National use.
The incumbent manages and controls the use of data related to the program regarding day to day functioning and program evaluations.
The incumbent ensures the SCI program is in compliance with VHA directives and care is rendered pursuant to the guidance of Clinical Practice Guidelines.
The incumbent is capable of practicing at the advanced level and has specialized knowledge of practice typically related to the SCI population.
Experience in SCI, wound care or Rehabilitative nursing is highly desirable; licensure and/or certification in these respective areas is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
