Administrative Assistant (Corporate Care MMCSC)
Description:
The Administrative Assistant for Corporate Care (Occupational Health Services), providing coverage primarily at our Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus location, will be responsible for providing clerical support to the department while serving as the office receptionist greeting patients/clients as they arrive for appointments.
Clerical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling client/patient appointments, answering phones, preparing charts and filing.
In addition, the Administrative Assistant will directly support the Medical Director by assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating various communications and functions from the Medical Director to all of the system Corporate Care locations and prepare type written correspondence under the direction of the Medical Director.
Requirements:
Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
Related clerical experience working in a medical practice office or hospital setting preferred.
Prior experience as an administrative assistant strongly preferred.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to learn computer based systems quickly an proficiently and have a strong commitment to providing superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
