Homeward is planning for aggressive growth in its lending business across multiple channels, including consumer direct, correspondent and broker. We are looking for experienced mortgage professionals in sales, operations and capital markets who have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer care while working in a growing, fast-paced lending business.
Reporting to the SVP, Lending, responsibilities will include the having substantial experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures in Six Sigma process improvement, the ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively from inception to completion, along with strong project management and time management skills. The Process Engineer will engineer process responsibilities, capacity plan, and maximize efficiency opportunities for all departments.
Job Functions:
oProject management skills and experience
oProcess definition including the process metrics for quality, service, cycle time, and productivity.
oCapacity Planning for headcount management based on monthly volume
oProcess engineering and re-engineering based on company, compliance and market needs
oInteract with all Operations Managers to develop and implement process refinements
oArticulate all work in a presentation format for Business Leaders
oMonthly monitoring of Operations performance and efficiency
oInteract with IT to articulate, promote and manage operational needs and projects
oAbility to manage multiple processes and projects
Qualifications:
o5
years of project management experience
oProven track record of success as a business manager
oThorough knowledge of mortgage operations, procedures, and operational regulatory compliance
oProcess engineering experience
oCapacity planning and efficiency maximization experience
oAbility to develop and implement efficient processes and practices throughout Operations
oProficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
oDemonstrated ability to cross communicate at all levels of the organization
oAbility to develop and implement efficient processes and practices throughout operationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
