Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician will be responsible for duties to include, but not limited to the following: Assist physician in endoscopy procedures under the supervision of the registered nurse and the physician; responsible for decontamination and reprocessing of endoscopy equipment; responsible for care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and other patient care equipment; responsible for ordering and inventory of supplies; and assisting the registered nurse, as directed, in the patient admission, recovery, and / or discharge process.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
A. High School Diploma or equivalent
B. BLS certification required
C. At least one year of experience in a GI or multi specialty surgery environment with working knowledge and proficiency in the use of endoscopy equipment. Ambulatory setting experience preferred.
D. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
E. Solid experience with endoscope reprocessing is required.
F. Duties include reprocessing scopes, assisting in procedures, setting up patient procedure rooms, ordering cleaning supplies and assisting the clinical team in delivering high quality professional care while achieving optimal patient satisfaction.
G. Requires effective communication skills, solid team player and a commitment to providing excellent patient service and professionalism.
H. Previous experience maintaining equipment and ordering supplies a plus.
Monday through Friday, no weekends, no holidays and no 'on call' requirement. Eight hour shifts with need for flexibility to accommodate patient care needs that may require extended hours of work.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
