Automotive Technician Mechanic (All Levels)

This person requires the ability to perform any/all diagnosis and repairs (including computer systems and drivability) required to a vehicle with a bare minimum of assistance and/or guidance. They require the ability to work through the diagnosis and repair process. While the company provides computer access the upper level of this grade would be expected to own their own computer and/or scanning equipment for use at the shop. This person would be a candidate to be a Mentor of an apprentice.
Level of experience and accreditation:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Automotive Technician
Minimum of 6 current ASE Certifications (non-body repair) - Preferably Master ASE Certified to include L-1 Certification
Maintain a minimum average production level of 105%
All Technicians are expected to own their own hand tools. The company will provide larger shop equipment such as lifts, jacks, lathes, battery chargers, welders, scanners, etc. Technicians will have access to Alldata and/or other resources to access data and reference material via a company owned computer, however we promote the use of personal p.c. for the purpose of accessing data resources. The company would provide a key for that purpose and supply the Technician with updated discs, as they are available.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
