Service Technician

Hi-Vac Corporation in Marietta Ohio is seeking experienced Service Technicians to work in the Service & Aftermarket Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The service Technician must be willing to travel, CLD Class A a plus.
Is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment at the customer's location and in the Hi-Vac factory.
Do repetitive work and effectively use hand tools.
Perform maintenance and repairs to in-plant equipment.
Plan, lead and execute projects.
Report job progress as required internally, with proper documentation.
Provide feedback to management regarding process improvement opportunities.
Anticipate and foresee issues with blueprints and schematics prior to the start of projects, take appropriate corrective action.
Serve existing accounts - analyze work orders, investigate complaints, conduct tests, and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggest improvement methods and techniques, and recommend system improvements.
Perform maintenance, preventative maintenance and repair on variety of equipment and tools that involve mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems.
Support all programs & certifications obtained by Hi-Vac.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree(GED) or equivalent
Experience with hydraulics, electrical, mechanical assembly of larger equipment is needed; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Vacuum truck experience a plus.
Certificates, License, and/or Registration
CDL B with tank endorsements preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
