Environmental Health and Safety Engineer Position
Summary:
To assist the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager with design, implementation and on-going administration of the corporate EHS Program, ensuring compliance with, and adherence to, all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
oPrepare and update safety procedures and policiesoProvide EHS training, and retraining as necessary, to new and incumbent workersoConduct EHS inspections, drills, audits and investigations in areas of facility, ergonomic, fire and accidentoManage health awareness, recycling and hazardous waste management programsoPerform sampling in areas such as Industrial hygiene and storm wateroPerform record keeping, data gathering and report preparation activities for routine regulatory requirements including auditing OSHA 300 logoMonitor EHS compliance of construction and contractor work being performed on-siteoAudit product packaging for DOT complianceoManage vendor MSDS record keeping and assist with development & maintenance of corporate MSDSsoAttend and participate on the Corporate Safety CommitteeEssential Role Requirements Include:
oUS permanent residencyo4 year degree in Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or Sciences, or other related fields of studyoAbility to work any shift, and overtime, as required to support global demandoMinimum 5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing environment required, 6-10 years preferredoExperience preparing environmental permit applications, OSHA 300 logs, and interacting with Federal EPA, DOT and NYS regulatory agenciesPreference given to candidates who have:
oCompleted 40-hour Hazwoper, DOT, and10-hour OSHA training programsoKnowledge of REACH and GHSoAchieved CHMM or CSP certificationoProficient in Microsoft Office with excellent verbal and written English language communication skillsoProven reliable and dependable team player with ability to work independentlyoDemonstrable experience in organizational, managerial, employee training disciplinesoAbility to wear respiratoroSuccessful pre-employment fitness-for-duty testing.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
