Nurse Recruiter
Job Description:
The Recruiter is responsible for prospecting and on-boarding new candidates as a hiring manager. This would include prospecting for new recruits, building relationships with field associates, working on open job orders, ensuring facility and MSN compliance is maintained, and providing excellent customer service. They must maintain professional follow-up and quality assurance consistent with MSN policies, procedures, and standards.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Documentation of all calls and recruitment activity into the computer system
Conduct the minimum requirement for phone activity as directed
Work on recruiting projects as requested
Attend all required training and seek out additional as needed
Creatively utilize a variety of tools (e.g., email, telephone, social media) to prospect and contact candidates
Convert recruits to field associates in a timely manner and work closely with Staffing Coordinators to place new hires
Work closely with marketing to request advertisement placement in journals, internet job boards, and direct mail
Analyze open orders in the system to make tactical decisions regarding recruitment
Audit facility compliance to ensure the scheduled field associates have met the placement requirements
Secure missing documents from potential candidates prior to placement
Attend scheduled recruitment meetings
Complete weekly reports for tracking metrics
Conduct competitive shops in your markets
Maintain and encourage communication with your assigned branch(s), credentialing, marketing and all other internal departments

Oral and Written Communication -Must be able to clearly communicate with a variety of applicants from student interns to Registered Nurses.
Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities, use time efficiently.
Adaptability - Manages competing demands and changing priorities. Decision/Judgment - Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek advice.
