Business Systems Analyst (EDI Process)
Xtreme Consulting Group is currently Recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst (EDI Process). This is an opportunity at one of our local client's sites in the beautiful Portland, OR Metro area.
This position is a 6 month contract with an excellent chance for extension.

We are looking for the following skills:
Bachelor's Degree, 8
years BSA experience, and advanced knowledge of EDI / B2B Integration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with business users, technical resources, team members, trading partners, vendors, and management.
Previous experience onboarding EDI trading partners.
Experience working with and optimizing large Supply Chains.
Previous experience with multiple EDI mapping & partner management tools such as Gentran:BASIC, Sterling B2Bi, Webmethods, GIS, etc.
Must be able to manage multiple projects and issues at the same time and have an eye for cross functional process improvements.
Strong interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical staff.
Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Flexibility and willingness to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
Ability to take charge and lead tasks to completion.
Preferred:
Experience with automotive aftermarket parts systems.
Experience with SAP
Experience with proprietary EDI systems.
Experience working with Gentran:Basic for OS/390 release 6.1.
Experience with Mainframe JCL / COBOL / EZTrieve development
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
Facilitate targeted improvements to Aftermarket Supply Chain Processes & Aftermarket EDI Operations.
Gather, research, understand, and document functional business requirements and solution options.
Provide advice, guidance, coordination, and support to Business Users and Trading Partners to increase the number of EDI-enabled partners and improve supply chain efficiencies.
On-board new EDI trading partners and enable new/updated transactions with existing EDI partners.
Assist with functional testing of new features, processes, and EDI maps.
Maintain appropriate documentation to reflect application design, life cycles, and configuration changes.
Develop, maintain, and publish functional/technical documentation for the support, maintenance, and improvement of EDI Systems.
Assist project Team Members, Stakeholders, and Management to understand EDI / B2B standard processes, procedures, best practices, and strategies
