Pioneer Bank Texas, has an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced Market Leader in our LaGrange, Texas branch.
POSITION
Summary: Pioneer Bank Texas, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Market Leader in our LaGrange, TX location. We are searching for a Market Leader with significant Lending experience. This individual will also be responsible for business development, relationship management of clients as well as identifying, growing and managing a portfolio of banking relationships. Responsibilities include the acquisition of new business through active calling on existing clients - and targeted prospects. Assisting in the management, development, and training of the staff at the branch location. Responsible for maintaining and growing an existing loan portfolio, prospecting for new business development, and making all branch management decisions.
Responsible for setting goals, monitor work, and evaluating results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.
Analyze customer's financial information for personal and commercial development.
Responsible for collection of past due and problem loans.
Monitor development of interim construction loans and analyze draw requests.
Interview all new loan applicants and inform them of approval or denial.
Assigned the task of supervising and coordinating loan department personnel with branch department personnel.
Manage portfolio to ensure the full opportunity has been captured.
Work with bank partners to identify cross sales opportunities among both current and potential business customers.
Provide- a high level of customer service to clients and manages the banking relationship from loan origination - renewal - extension and closing process.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by each department.
Attract, retain and motivate staff.
Other Duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, economics or finance preferred. Other business degrees are acceptable with comparable experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Strong business development/selling skills, strong understanding of basic consumer and commercial deposit, credit, treasury management and investment products and lending policies, procedures and structure. Strong understanding of loan structures; strong analytical skills; thorough understanding of collateral documentation and the Uniform Commercial Code requirements as it relates to commercial lending, strong interpersonal communication skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must hold a valid Texas driver's license and have the ability to travel to the various Pioneer Bank offices.
WORK
Experience:
Five to seven years of experience in commercial lending, business development, commercial credit and portfolio management in the business banking or middle market sector. Proven track record of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships. Proven sales skills and experience. Must be able to access and analyze financial conditions of clients and the industry trends.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
