Shift Maintenance Mechanic
Your Challenge:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Support production by performing repairs and servicing paper converting equipment
Required to communicate and document any changes to machinery performed during shift
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and follow up repairs when necessary
Assist operations personnel with troubleshooting day-to-day production issues
Your
Qualifications:
2 years in maintenance or 3 years in paper converting operations preferred.
High level of energy and enthusiasm is a must
Must adhere to service- oriented philosophy of the department
Must be able to handle changing in schedule ( shift work or straight days as needed)
Intermediate mechanical skills (use of hand tools, welding, machining) required
Must have good commutation skills and have the ability to work with diverse groups of people
Highly competent with computers ( knowledge of AS400 a plus)
