Collection Clerk
World Acceptance has an immediate opening for a full time Collection Clerk in our Legal Center. This position is responsible or processing paperwork with various courts & judicial systems within the various states that our company does business in an effort to collect on past due accounts, some travel to court is required.
This position requires the candidate to maintain a valid driver's license, have a personal vehicle which will be used for work daily and at minimum, maintain liability insurance.
Applicants for this position should have a high school degree or GED. Previous work experience, particularly in customer service & collections, is preferred. The candidate must have basic computer skills and be able to accurately type 35 wpm.
In addition, the candidate for this position should be highly motivated, possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and have the ability to get along well with others.
This is an entry level position that starts a $10.00 an hour and the company will provide the necessary training. Applicants for this position will be required to pass a criminal and credit background check prior to being employed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
