Senior Tax Accountant
DescriptionDJO is a global provider of medical devices that provide solutions for musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management.
We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant in our Vista, CA location.
DUTIESo Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740) o Prepare federal consolidated, state, and local income tax filings including Forms 5471 and 8858 o Prepare medical device excise tax estimated tax payments and returnso E&P, Subpart F and Section 956 analysiso Prepare tax account reconciliationso Complete ad-hoc tax research projects o Prepare for and assist with state tax auditso Respond to state tax inquirieso May assist in directing the day-to-day activities and provide training to non-senior tax analyst Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Masters in Taxation and/or CPA highly preferred.
o A minimum of 3 years of progressive federal tax compliance experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm.
o Strong analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated federal and state tax returns.
o ASC 740 experience.
o International exposure a plus.
