Warehouse Coordinator - Tracy, CA
Summary:
The Warehouse Person is responsible for the day to day handling of inbound and outbound freight. Must be able to multi-task in a warehouse environment and work well under pressure to service the customer in a safe and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to picking orders accurately for all customers as well as being able to receive material and put it away correctly using WMS.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities:
o Receive, check and stock merchandise.
o Fill sales orders for the customer
o Pick and verify orders for inter-store transfers. Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
o Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
o Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or for product delivery to other branches.
o When needed, assists management in warehouse inventory counts, picking and pulling orders, daily maintenance of the warehouse and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
o Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
o Candidate must have experience driving a forklift.
o Appliance Lift experience is a plus.
o Must pass DOT physical examination requirements.
o Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
o Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
o Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics is a plus
o High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

o Walking and moving about on foot.
o Handling: Seizes, helps or works with hands.
o Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts.
o Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
o Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
o Standing: Remains in standing position If required to perform various functions of the job.
o Climbing: In and out of equipment.
o Vision: Read work tickets and parts books.
o Talking: Communications by radio, phone, and in person.
o Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.
Physical Strength:
o Lifting: Up to 60lbs. daily, frequent exertion.
Environmental:
o Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
o Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather.
o Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.
