Summary of Position
Perform daily reconciliations of all bank accounts and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Duties & Responsibilitieso Data entry proficiency.o Scheduled account reconciliation.o Printing reports from established databases.o Maintain accurate records and logs.o Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivableo Effective communication with financial institutions, borrowers, vendors, agents, courthouses, tax collectors, clients, attorneys, borrowers, and Company personnel to determine business needs.o Prints checks, process one or more of the following: payments, wires, transfers, reissues, credit card payments and stop payments.o Discrepancy investigation and resolution.o Perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with established time standards.o All other duties as assigned by management.o Maintain open communication with team members and team leader.
Minimum Qualificationso Four (4) years' experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting or work experience within a financial institution loan departmento Practical work experience with one or more of the following applications: Microsoft Excel and Office, Quickbooks, MAS500 and/or bank on-line systems

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
