Customer Service - Manufacturing

Summary of Duties: Coordinate and handle the parts, billing and warranty process to support the parts department.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Complete paperwork and file all requests for parts, repairs and warranty claims for customers
- Be available to answer questions via the telephone for all customers
- Provide excellent customer service by providing information to questions concerning customer parts, returned goods and warranty items
- Coordinate with internal personnel to get applicable information in order to process warranty claims
- Process returned customer parts, work with vendors to get appropriate credits etc. process return parts not needed by internal service center
- Track and process cores and core credits with both customers and vendors
- Create reports to track return parts requests/return authorizations -- using SAP
- Document findings and status for the returns in several data collection and inventory systems
- Perform preliminary investigations on returned goods which display a quality or potential packaging problem
- Support other departments with information related to returns and no charge replacement parts
- Understand and follow Quality Standards and Procedures
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of manufacturing (i.e. R&D, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc. on all quality related issues)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
