High School Foreign Exchange Student Volunteer Host Family Recruiter
CCI Greenheart - www.ccigreenheart.org - is seeking professionals with experience in education, social work, marketing, business, or related fields who are interested in other cultures and working with international high school students. Such individuals must be self-starters who have the ability to network and recruit volunteer host families in order to place and support incoming high school foreign exchange students.
Applicants should not be seeking full-time employment nor traditional benefits but rather have a passion for multi-cultural education, community-building, and a heart for connecting people from all over the world through high school foreign exchange. Successful Local Coordinators are motivated independent contractors who set their own hours, goals, and workload in a relentless pursuit to offer a life-changing experience to everyone involved. They also willingly strive for excellence in a unique industry promoted and regulated by the US State Department, accepting the challenge of participating in citizen diplomacy while also protecting all students by strict compliance with established DOS regulations.
Generous payments and points toward travel incentives will be earned for host family recruitment and successful networking to promote our programs and share our vision of Connecting People with Planet as well as for supervising students, executing specific exchange programs, and implementing volunteer-based community service projects.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to engage others within the local community, flexibility, patience, and understanding in the face of obstacles or conflict, and hosting experience or extensive interaction with teens combined with the willingness to host.
This is a commission only position, not an employment opportunity, unless had previous experience.
