Manufacturing Production Manager

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Coordinate the scheduling of people, materials, and equipment to attain daily production goals. Ensure the quality of the products as a top priority. Interact with engineering and quality functions to coordinate and resolve production related issues. Relentlessly drive continuously raising the overall level of performance, productivity and professionalism of the organization through LEAN manufacturing concepts, Six Sigma tools or similar concepts. Perform all personnel functions related to production staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Workforce planning and forecasting.
Employee hiring and training.
Area layout and flow management.
Capital identification and control of overhead expenses.
Management of budget & financial statements.
Familiar with different repair processes.
Interfaces with Engineering and OEM to resolve any servicing issues as related to company products.
Internal cross-functional involvement with all relative administrative departments.
Ability to analyze data to find root source of product and production problems.
Work with employees to gain suggestions for improvements of products/processes that would enhance the effectiveness/performance of our products.
Promote development, documentation and training of employees on appropriate Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensuring the enforcement of company policies and procedures.
Observes safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly corrects and/or reports hazardous situations to Vice President of Operations.
Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals.
Other duties as necessary.



KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field (or equivalent) is desired.


EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor or in a position of leadership or management. Experience in an electronics assembly and repair environment preferred.

Ability to lead in a team-based manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Strong understanding and commitment to continuously raising the overall level of performance, productivity and professionalism of the organization (to include encouragement and promotion with all surrounding team members).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
