Boulder Homestead located in Boulder City Nevada is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join their Assisted Living team!
Volunteers of America is proud to present assisted living and memory care services to the Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City Communities.
The primary purpose of the Registered Nurse it to utilize the nursing process in planning and providing direct care to residents as assigned. The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person in charge according to the Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 1. Current licensure in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current CPR Registration.
3. Maintenance of required CEU's.
4. Experience in long-term care preferred.
5. Good problem solver with abilities to make independent judgments utilizing initiative, discretion and the nursing process as needed.
6. Demonstrates leadership ability.
7. Effective communicator with staff, families and outside agencies.
8. Ability to prioritize duties.
9. Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques.
10. Clinical competence to utilize the nursing process to perform physical and cognitive assessments of residents.
11. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
12. Must be a team player.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
