We are looking for a versatile, sharp, innovative, technical go-to team member to be a part of a federal agency s adoption of large-scale mobile technology to transform their business operations.
As a seasoned Application Developer you will work with client stakeholders and consulting team members to design software architecture for mission critical mobile and back-end applications. The ideal candidate thrives in working with new technologies, brings creativity and passion in creating innovative software solutions, and is effective in communicating the value of the solution. In the course of solutions delivery, you may be required to design, code, write, test, and present.
Duties:
Design and develop enterprise mobile applications and related middle-tier and back-end systems.
Collaborate with product owners and software developers to clarify feature requests and requirements, design and develop software in an iterative, incremental design/build/test cycle using an Agile development process
Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization s Agile project life-cycle
Adheres to, promotes, and helps maintain development standards and best practices; participates in regular code reviews;
The Job requires you to have:
Extensive C# and .Net experience
Enterprise mobile application design and development experience
Experience with Design Patterns, MVC
Minimum 10 years of overall software development experience (preferably in .Net / C#)
Minimum 6 years of recent experience designing scalable, Internet-facing applications and at least 3 years designing enterprise mobile applications.
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of database technology
You need to have:
Bachelor s Degree in computer or information science
United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
The ability to work on site in Suitland, MD (remote working is not an option for this position)
